INTELLECTUAL CARDS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN MATHEMATICS IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL -- STUDENTS SAY "AH!" AFTER WORKING WITH THEM
Over the last 20 years there have been major changes in educational systems and their insurance research anywhere in the world. On the one hand, this is necessary by the advent of technology in education, on the other hand, the changes in thinking and motivation of modern children. The old forms of teaching are becoming less effective. Students lose interest by the monotony in the traditional lesson. They expect surprise, involvement in something interesting. Students lose commitment if anything is getting useful or enjoyable for them. In search of change we came to the idea of "non-linear¨ presentation of information to assist the transformation into knowledge and skills. This article reveals the opportunities for the application of Mind Maps in mathematics education – 4 grade, as a means of provoking and energizing the mental activity of the students. Mind Maps help them tap into their brain's full potential by using a combination of colour, image and association.
