The Head-Leader

The article discusses the main aspects of the leadership role of a manager. The author’s goal is based on “visible” and time-tested concepts and ideas to help a beginner director of a school or kindergarten to orient one-self in responsibilities of a leader-manager. The following questions are discussed for this purpose: Who is a leader and what makes a leader from a person? Is the leader necessarily a manager? And if so, what type of a leader-manager is he/she? What management roles do he/she takes on? What does the choice of a winning leadership style depend on? And what defines a manager as a successful and effective leader.
