Bibliometric Analysis of Scopus Publications Related to Virtual Reality Research in the Field of Arts and Humanities

A bibliometric analysis of publications in Scopus with a keyword or text in the abstract or in the title “virtual reality” was made. Emphasis is placed on publications in the field of Arts and Humanities and on authors from Bulgaria. For this purpose, data from Scopus, available in September 2024, are used. In addition to quantitative comparisons by indicators: types, fields, authors, citations, co-authorship, time and others, cluster analysis is also used. VOSviewer was used for it and for creating network maps.
