Integrating Multimodal Strategies and Digital Technologies in Art Education
DOI: 10.15547/PF.2025.019
The article explores the integration of multimodal strategies and digital technologies in art education as a response to the evolving needs of contemporary students. The study involves 106 art education students and examines their preferences for traditional, digital, and multimodal learning methods. Findings reveal that combining visual, auditory, hands-on, and digital resources significantly enhances student engagement and learning outcomes. Active methods, such as demonstrations and project-based learning, are perceived as more effective compared to passive approaches. At the same time, the lack of systematic training and official courses in digital drawing highlights the need to update academic curricula. The study emphasizes the role of multimodality in fostering critical thinking, cultural literacy, and creativity in modern art education.
