Education Through Case Studies (Didactic Aspects of Civic Education)

In contemporary scientific literature, there is a trend towards a change in teaching methodology. Successful use of case studies in civic education proved constructive in teaching practice. They are operationally associated with the taxonomy of educational objectives, developing evaluation skills, professional and personal qualities. Case studies are an increasingly popular form of training. They develop practical skills, knowledge and activate students’ worldview by challenging their values. The article examines the use of "case studies" as an empirical method for orientation in the value nature of civic education.
