PEDAGOGICAL TOOLS FOR MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

The paper deals with various pedagogical tools for mathematics education. The topics “Quadrilaterals in 5th grade” and “Geometric transformations and the paintings of Escher” are illustrated with both material and virtual models. The potential of the mathematics etudes as a pedagogical tool is demonstrated. Furthermore, the comics are presented as a pedagogical tool for reflection.
