EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE - A KEY TO SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALISTS

The issue of studying teachers’ emotional intelligence in the context of important professional qualities remains insufficiently studied at this point in the latest Bulgarian scientific reality. The growing interest in issues related to emotional competence and professional self-awareness of teachers, in connection with their successful performance, is determined by the modern social trends and basic objectives of education. Through the development of emotional intelligence as a significant factor for enhancing psychological culture, the pedagogical specialists will improve their emotional competence, increase the level of their professional skills and expand their opportunities for a complete personal and professional performance and fulfillment.
