THE INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGY OF ALFRED ADLER AND ITS CONTEMPORARY PERSPECTIVE (AN INTRODUCTION TO INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGY)
The Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler is one of the most significant achievements in the field of psychology in the twentieth century. It produced an educational strategy that can be defined as a socially directed theory. The main focus is placed upon the fundamental motivation of the human being to belong to the society in which s/he lives and to contribute to its development. The present theoretical investigation is centered on the primary concepts and principles of Adler’s ideas, which have often been defined as precursors to the social and humanistic psychology and practice.
