BEHAVIOURAL INDICATORS OF THE TENDENCY TO INTERNET ADDICTION AMONG 10-11-YEAR-OLDS
The age group from 10 to 11 is cited by researchers as a risk group for Internet addiction. The results of a survey of students in grade 4 shows that the strongest behavioral indicators of an existing tendency for Internet addiction are the following: rejection of school obligations or household chores in order to have free time at the computer, installing unnecessary programs; excessive computer game playing and chatting, lack of self-control regarding the time in front of the computer. The survey also provides information about some weaker indicators of the tendency for Internet addiction.
