A Model for the Development of a Professional-Pedagogical Sport-Animation Competence

The current articles present the prerequisites and the orientation of the field of education toward the competency approach. The concept of competence and competencies that each pedagogue should acquire is looked at with the reflection of the contemporary priorities in the pedagogical field. Taking into consideration the research conducted by the authors on existing deficits in relations to the level of physical activities for maintaining good health in adolescents, the article presents a model of sport-animation competency of the pedagogue, developed by the author.
