This paper deals with the problem of acquiring professional and qualification degrees in Special Education in Bulgaria.
A comparative analysis has been made for the period of ten years. The collected data has been drawn from two of the departments for in-service teacher qualification: those in Sofia and in Stara Zagora.
The statistical function conclusions have been drawn.
