SELECTED NON-PARAMETRIC METHODS FOR PROCESSING STATISTICAL RESULTS OF EMPIRICAL PEDAGOGICAL STUDIES

Non-parametric methods in statistical studies have become prevalent due to their capacity to allow processing of data obtained from measurements, taken using a nominal or range scale. This is common in empirical pedagogical studies and determines their wide application.
In the present article we discuss some popular methods which can be used in specific study conditions – when small or correlating samples are present or only one sample is available. Attached are tables to determine critical values and to assist the writing of conclusive statements.
