NATIONAL EXTERNAL EVALUATION OF "MAN AND SOCIETY" AND CIVIC EDUCATION

The article examines the national external evaluation of "Man and Society" school subject as an evaluation tool for acquiring civic and social skills at the end of the initial stage. Progression of the aims is traced. Standardized assessment in its European and national dimensions is viewed. Professional and meaningful problems in the national assessment are observed. A new structure for the developing the examination test, including interdisciplinary teaching cases related to assessment of civil and social skills is proposed.
