Structured Teaching is only a part of the large collection of alternative methods and techniques of training and communication of children with multiple disabilities, which is increasingly proving in a definitive way their advantages over the conventional methods of communication and therapy.
The article is focused on the nature, organization and significance of the structured teaching and the mechanisms through which it provides real opportunities to achieve autonomy and independence in children with more than one disability.
